The harbour of Kos is situated in the heart of the islands of the Dodecanese.

Setting out from this harbour greatly improves accessibility. It should be borne in mind that doing so involves two extra internal flights, and that it is advisable to spend a night in a hotel upon arrival on the island (Friday is the best day to arrive, in order to begin preparing on Saturday morning).

This harbour is used as a starting point for sailing among the islands of the Dodecanese.

Bodrum is located on the peninsula of the same name, close to the northwest entrance to the Gulf of Gökova and facing the Greek island of Kos.

Bodrum’s attractive coast and exuberant nightlife make it a very popular sailing and tourist resort.

Marmaris is an important natural harbour and, thanks to its position at the point at which the Mediterranean and Aegean Seas meet, a leading tourist destination. The Gulf of Gökova lies to its north, the Mediterranean to its south, the Datca peninsula to its west and Lake Koycegiz to its east.


Boasting two large marinas and a number of smaller ones, Marmaris is a major sailing resort that enjoys great popularity in winter. A ferry service provides transport to the Greek island of Rhodes.



Situated in the heart of the city, the Marmaris Netsel Marina has space for 720 boats. It also has water, electricity, telephones, internet, a parking area, a medical service, a restaurant, a taxi service and vehicle hire. The closest airport is that of Dalaman, some 90 km from the marina.

The island of Rhodes is the most extensive island of the Dodecanese, and was in earlier times one of the most famous ports in the world. Today it serves as a perfect starting point for a trip around the islands.

Tsambika, a very popular beach, is one of the best on Rhodes.es una de las mejores playas de Rodas. Following the main road, from Pefki and the beautiful bay of Stafyliá towards Cape Prasonisio, one finds an uninterrupted series of seldom visited sandy shores: Glystra, Kiotari, Lahania. The small island of Calcio has some lovely beaches, which can only be reached by the boats that sail every morning from the port at Emborio

The island has a typical Mediterranean climate: hot summers and fresh winters, especially in the mountains.
