The first day we leave with the boat from Empuriabrava, a coastal town known for its long canals that connect directly with the apartments, being the largest residential port in Europe with 24km of navigable waterways. On land, the Greco-Roman acropolis of Sant Martí d'Empuries can be found relatively close to the area. It also has great beaches such as Platja de La Rubina, with shallow waters perfect for children.
Then, on the 2nd, we disembark in l'Estartit, a coastal town belonging to the municipality of Torroella de Montgrí that for a few years has become one of the most precious destinations in the world of diving thanks to its proximity to the Medes Islands, located one mile from the coast. The archipelago, declared a natural reserve, is made up of seven islets with rocky bottoms and underwater caves that make it a perfect space for scuba diving and snorkeling. As soon as we leave the port with our rental sailboat or catamaran, we will leave the Medes Islands on our right and head towards the Montgrí coast, where we will find small and beautiful coves, all of them ideal places for snorkeling.
On the third day we will go with our sailboat or rental yacht to Palamós, a population of 17,000 inhabitants that has become a tourist center of the first magnitude. We can enjoy the main sandy beach or beautiful nearby coves, such as Cala Margarida, a cove of stones and shallow waters surrounded by small fishermen's houses. Palamós also has a long and quiet promenade, a very active shopping center and a lively nightlife in summer, with pubs and bars concentrated in the port area.
On the fourth day it's time to visit Blanes, a town located in the La Selva region, in Girona. Once we disembark from our sailboat or rental yacht, we will have many things to do on land. From visiting the Blanes great botanical garden, to going to the different coves such as Sant Francesc, with crystal clear water and surrounded by bars and restaurants a few meters from the beach. The town also has the ruins of the castle of San Juan, a historical monument from the 13th century.
Now we go to S'agaró, a luxury town belonging to the municipality of Castillo de Aro, on the coast of the Costa Brava. There we will be able to do all kinds of outdoor activities, such as walking the Camino de Ronda, which has a beautiful natural landscape in which you can see all the towns of the Costa Brava following the trails. Walk calmly while you appreciate the transparency of the water, the beauty of the coves or the rays of the sun. The different coves found in S'Agaró are also perfect for snorkelling.
As the last destination before returning to the starting point we have Calella de Palafrugell, one of the most appreciated places on the Costa Brava. The town has numerous coves, such as Aigua Blava, Port Peregrí or Cala de Sant Roc. All of them with crystal clear waters and great tranquility. It also has Far de Sant Sebastià, a place with views of a large part of the coast and a bar to appreciate them in peace.
