We introduce you another very important person who is part of the TSCH team. He has been with us since we opened and has a lot of experience that he will put at your service to attend you in the best possible way.
Read everything Barbara answered to these 10 questions to know her a little better.
1. When and how was your first experience in the world of sailing?
I live in the Costa Brava and here it's easy to sail, but until I started working at TSCH I had not tried what it was like to sail aboard a catamaran or a gulet.
2. Finish the sentence: NAVIGATION FOR ME IS...
Relax.
3. If you had your own boat, what would you call it and why?
"Getaway", because when you navigate you forget about your routine.
4. Which trip have you enjoyed the most and why?
A trip with family and friends to Italy visiting the islands of Procida, Ischia and Capri. Being able to escape the tourist crowds and have our own space on board the catamaran was fantastic.
5. What is the moment or time you like the most during each trip?
Being able to jump into the sea when you wake up and sunbathe on the bow. Also walk through a different place every day and sail only by sail listening to the sound of the sea.
6. Can you tell us about any big scares you've had while sailing?
On one occasion, we experienced a strong stormy night but, luckily, we were well moored in the port.
7. And any anecdotes that you remember and want to share?
Well, the anecdote will be quickly understood through this advice: don't all get off the dinghy without having it well tied to the boat :-)
8. What is the most important learning you have learned from your entire experience at sea?
If you are flexible, everything is easier.
9. What destination do you plan to go to next?
To Croatia.
10. Lastly, any advice to give to someone who has never surfed?
If you have never sailed, it may be better to start with a catamaran because it is more stable. I would also recommend you to choose a destination with short distances and calm sea waters like Croatia, my next trip.
