We are a young and dynamic team with experience in the tourism sector and, above all, the world of sailing. Our passion for the sea is what moves us. Sergi and Marc, brothers and founders of Topsailingcharter, along with their respective wives, Barbara and Yolanda, are seafarers and have been passionate about the sea since a very young age. They live next to one of the most well-preserved natural parks in the Costa, Brava, Medes Islands, where they learned how to swim and sail.

The nautical knowledge of some and the professional experience of others in the tourism sector come together at Topsailingcharter to offer the best service possible. Our goal is to make your trip and your stay aboard unforgettable. Sergi Alós i Pla (manager and founding partner of the company)

As a boy, he trained in the lower categories of sailing such as Optimist and 420 in which he won various regional championships. He also completed courses from the Catalan Sailing Federation such as base monitor, advanced sailing and, later on, national coach for the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation. He worked as a monitor in various nautical clubs starting at the age of 16. Later, from 1990 to 1992, he worked at the Almata Camping Grounds as a monitor for sailing, windsurfing and catamarans and gave classes to the students of INEF (National Institute for Physical Education). In 1993, he created his own company, Ones Guies Litorals S.L., dedicated to all kinds of water activities (kayaking, windsurfing, catamarans, sailing) and mountain activities (skiing, snow, climbing, archery, etc…). In 1996, he was the national sailing coach in the Paralympics in Atlanta alongside with Her Royal Highness Infanta Cristina of Spain. After various professional experiences in shipyards and nautical centres, in 2008, together with three partners, he founded Topsailingcharter S.L.

Sergi Alós speaks three languages (Catalan, Spanish and English) and has taken various boat trips in the Mediterranean and the Adriatic: Turkey (gulet), Greece (catamaran), Croatia (gulet), Costa Brava (catamaran), Ibiza-Formentera (sailing boat) and the Aeolian Islands (gulet). In the Caribbean, he has sailed around the British Virgin Islands, Martinique and the Grenadines aboard a catamaran.

Marc Alós i Pla (founding partner of the company)

Sculpture, ceramist and a grand lover of sailing. He holds a Yachtmaster qualification in addition to qualifications as a monitor for dingy and cruiser sailing and windsurfing. He has worked as a sailing monitor in the Nautical Club of Estartit and in the Port Olímpic Municipal Sailing Centre in Barcelona and has participated in various competitions in Catalonia and Spain as part of the Catalan Sailing Federation team. He has taken many cruises in the Costa Brava and the Balearic Islands. He has also sailed in Croatia and Turkey (in gulet) and Sardinia, Greece and the Caribbean (in catamaran).

Bàrbara Martínez Reinoso (consultant and founding partner of the company)

With a degree in hotel management at a European level (EURODHIP), her passion for the sea led her to focus her professional career on the maritime tourism sector. She has worked in various travel agencies and in the Nautical Station (Estació Nàutica) of l’Estartit. She is a founding partner of TSCH and has been a part of its team since 2007. She speaks Catalan, Spanish and French and has extensive sailing experience with gulets and catamarans both in the Mediterranean (Turkey, Greece, Croatia, Costa Brava, Ibiza and Formentera, Sardinia and the Aeolian Islands) and the Caribbean (Martinique-Grenadines and the British Virgin Islands).

Yolanda Casorrán (founding partner)

Concerned about nature, she has received education in a variety of fields from English philology to private law and has completed courses in ceramics and dinghy sailing, her two great passions. She worked as a collaborator in the sailing regatta office and volunteered at the Olympic Games in Barcelona'92. Over the last few years, she has taken various trips in gulet and catamaran in Croatia, Martinique, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the British Virgin Islands and Sardinia.

Sailor and PADI. She is an expert in cruises in Croatia, Turkey, Ibiza and the Aeolian Islands. She speaks Catalan, Spanish, English and Czech

Fanny Peralta (consultant and product manager).

She is an expert in charters around  Croatia, Turkey, Ibiza, the Aeolian Islands, the Caribbean and French Polynesia. She speaks Catalan, Spanish, English, French and Italian. She advises all our French and Italian speaking customers.
