Jeanneau Shipyard has been building ships since the year 1957. Jeanneau boats refer to elegance, quality, innovation, safety and, above all, to comfort. Over the years, Jeanneau has established itself as a major shipbuilder and has become one of the world's largest recreational shipyards with an area of 40 hectares. Also, it's dealer network covers up more than 80 countries.
Jeanneau has been in favor of innovation since its inception: in 1958, for example, Jeanneau built it's first fiberglass hull with polyester resin, a new material that represented a technological breakthrough. This also meant a greater speed in the production of Jeanneau yachts and boats. Jeanneau sailboats are composed by modern and pure lines, which make this boats very attractive and easy to maneuver. Jeanneau introduced the joystick system too, a system that revolutionized recreational boats and, even today, facilitates the maneuverability of Jeanneau yachts, especially in the port. Besides innovating, Jeanneau is also in favor of the preservation of marine biodiversity and has the certificate of the ISO 14001 Environment Management.
During the 1980s, Jeanneau committed itself to motor racing and became the official supplier of the Tour de France à la Voile, in addition to creating the Jeanneau Techniques Avancees, where the creation of prototypes for competition is promoted. To continue with its expansion, in the 90s, Jeanneau ended up joining Bénnéteau shipyard.
The history of Jeanneau boats is marked by the quality of the finishing, their performance, their technological developments and the excellent customer service and satisfaction, all at a very competitive price.
