Located in less than 100 kilometers from the African coast, Fuerteventura was declared a biosphere reserve by UNESCO in 2009. This is the geologically oldest island of the archipelago of the Canary Islands with a lot of plains.

Fuerteventura is the great unknown island of the Canaries, remains in the heart of travelers. With over 150 miles of white sandy beaches, traverse its turquoise waters on the charted catamaran and discover unique natural spaces. Most of its coastline is unspoilt and completely quiet, where only the waves of the ocean can be listened. Close to it, across the Straits of Bocaina, is situated Lanzarote where we will see dolphins and whales. Also do not miss the island of Lobos, very small and nice, located on the northwest of Fuerteventura. Corralejo Beach in the Punta de la Tiñosa is situated close to the cliff area that hardly is accessible by land. Don’t miss the opportunity to approach them by water. The Beach Barlovento and Sotavento are characterized by the extension of sand, and on the east coast are sandy beaches and rocky areas.

With an exceptional climate all year, is notable the dryness of its climate. Here may be not any rain during the year. It reflects the Saharan climate reached from Africa. There are also perfect conditions for water sports, thanks to strong winds and small waves. For the same reason Fuerteventura is chosen to host the world championships.
