The port of Valencia boasts a sea front divided in two large parts. In the north, united by a wide and attractive Maritime Walk, one finds the towns most popular beaches, Malvarrosa and Cabañal.
Apart from enjoying the sun and the bathing, the Valencian coastline offers a multitude of activities. Its 26 kilometres of beach provide the perfect stage for windsurfing, light sailing, and many nautical activities. Or indeed one can walk or cycle along the paths of the Natural Park, or navigate the channels of the Albufera aboard traditional crafts.
Valencia has one of the most benign climates in Europe, mild, typically Mediterranean, with a mean annual temperature greater than 17ºC. Summers are warm, and winters moderate.
