Firstly, since yachts are motor monohulls, you won't have much interior space, especially if compared to the space inside a sailing boat. The size of the motor room on this type of vessel takes away from passenger space. On the contrary, you can gain more speed and thus arrive sooner at your favourite fishing spot, and you normally have an ample sundeck for sunbathing.


Secondly, keep your budget in mind given that a greater part of it will go towards fuel. If you choose this option, remember to ask for the approximate consumption of the yacht you’ve selected. The difference in consumption with a sailing boat of the same size can be enormous.
