Clothes to put in your suitcase to travel by boat

 title=

We give you a few useful tips to pack the ideal luggage for your next trip aboard a boat. Follow them all and you won't go wrong with your suitcase.

It's not complicated to choose the correct clothing, footwear and accessories that you will need during your boat trip, we assure you. Just follow these basic tips and you will succeed with your next luggage.

1.

THE MOST COMPACT SUITCASE THAT YOU HAVE

And if it weighs little and is waterproof, much better.

2.

REMEMBER THAT STORAGE IN THE BOAT IS LIMITED

There is usually not much space on board

per person to store your belongings

so before the trip plan the trip days with

complete sets (including underwear and swimwear).

3.

ONLY TAKE 1 "JUST IN CASE"

Once organized each day with your outfit,

choose a set that will be the perfect "just in case".

But follow this rule and only carry 1 extra

to avoid the temptation of adding extra things.

4.

LEARN TO CHOOSE

When choosing it's better to include those clothes that

you know that they respect these 3 premises:

fit you well, are comfortable and dry quickly.

Actually, taking the last one into account is very useful.

5.

PRIORITIZE THE 2 C'S: COMBINATIONS AND LAYERS

Better to wear several fine clothes,

all of which can be combined with each other,

and that you can put on or take off as layers.

Obviously, you will have consulted the weather forecast,

but you never know and you still feel fresh

that gives you a rush of heat.

6.

DON'T FORGET TO INCLUDE SOMETHING LONG

Whether to watch the sunrise on deck

or even to cover you from the scorching sun,

We advise you to always carry at least

a long top and bottom garment.

7.

THE JACKET: IMPORTANT!

The outerwear that you put in your luggage

is better that it be windproof (windstopper) and waterproof.

Even if you travel in the middle of summer to a warm climate

it takes up almost no space and can save you

of a sudden weather change.

8.

FOOTWEAR OF "YES" OR "NOT"

Inside the boat you usually go barefoot and on deck it depends

but if you are wearing shoes reserve that pair just for the boat.

Slippery soles and those that cannot get wet, no.

Heels either, it doesn't make sense...

But one pair of botties are a great idea.

In general, better shoes with white or light colour soles.

and the most common thing is to wear

flip-flops and sports shoes.

9.

TELL ME WHAT ACTIVITIES YOU ARE GOING TO DO...

And I'll tell you what to put in your suitcase.

It's important to take into account whether your leisure time

it will consist of visiting streets and monuments, diving,

trekking, running... or anything else.

Although, this only influences choosing daily outfits.

and it is not worth using it to add excess clothing.

10.

PERSONAL NEEDS AND ACCESSORIES

Of course, in addition to your favorite products,

includes a lot of sun protection.

Another issue is saltpeter in the hair:

a specific lotion to take care of it is good.

And, depending on where you travel, a spray that repels insects

(one for everyone on the boat will be enough).

It's also a good idea to bring a cap or hat,

as well as good glasses to protect you from the sun.

Now you have all the information to pack your suitcase well and not miss anything on board. Enjoy the trip, sailor!
